Invincible OOC Comm

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately, due to the lack of activity, and fall in interest, we the mod team have decided to close the game.


I wanted to apologize to those of you who have been active, and invested, and thank you for all that you've done here. It has meant so much to me over these weeks that people saw my game and liked it enough to give it a shot. I'm just so, so sorry it didn't work, in the end.

I won't be closing the comms, if anyone wants to write out anything they had, to try and get whatever measure of closure they can.

Again, I'm sorry that things are ending this way. Thank you to everyone who has been here.

Tonight at approximately 8:30PM, there was a surprise room inspection for all metahuman residents. Each residences was inspected an any contraband was collected. While residents can feel free to bitch about this to the agents, they won’t be happy about it. Feel free to assume your character had stuff taken and/or received fines. If they’re feeling especially feisty, a trip to the SHU could definitely happen.

Ahhh! D: So I disappeared, I'm so sorry! Adjusting to this ridiculous new job just took the pep right out of my step. And I'm sort of...afraid? to look and see what's happened these past two weeks because I fear it'll discourage me. I'd just like to take off running in activity from where the game stands at the moment rather than trying to play catch-up in a dozen other posts because I don't think it'd do anything but clutter.

So please please please! If you wonderful folks have time, could you just update me on what your lovelies have been up to? That way I can say "Oh! Pen responded thus." or "Erin hates so and so for this." and we can pretend I was always here... >.>

I'm going to email folks tonight about logs I abandoned, because I...I'm so sorry... I feel really terrible. I've never just dropped logs like that before.

ALSO because I would've forgotten! I did app a fourth character. Weirdly enough all of my characters in this game are female. I say weirdly because I typically always play an equal male to female ratio. So this is unusual for me. But:



This is Summer Barton, middle sibling to Patrick and Ashley. She was a pretty well-known and well-respected tech field agent down in Phoenix until an attack threw her into the hospital last year with extensive brain damage.

After a frickton of therapy, treatments, psych evaluations, and training, she's been relocated to this facility as a residential agent at a lower clearance level. She's totally fine - except for the random emotional outbursts, the occasional hallucination, and the almost Alice in Wonderland-esque personality, when she was previously basically a Vulcan. She's still going through therapy, treatments, counseling, all those things, while being observed by her siblings.

Okay, I must away to work now! But I love all of you. I'm so very sorry. And I hope with this post I can start giving your characters the attention they deserve! Peace.

FRIENDS LOVERS INVINCIBLES, I feel like I am in a slump with character directions and have decided what might help us all out is some kind of a communal brainstorming post where we can throw out things we need, want, think are fun, etc.

So comment below with your ideas, things you've always wanted to do with your characters and haven't had the chance to do yet, things you can offer to do for other people (maybe you could form a friendship group for poker nights or maybe bingo I don't know you decide), etc.

And then when you have done that, please comment around on other people's requests/ideas and profit.

Hey guys, this is just a PSA that while I missed the last one due to illness, I will get this week's Meta Media done but it will be on the late side. I've been doing reader-writer exams for work and hurt my shoulder and right wrist yesterday, so while I need to keep my time sitting at a computer to a minimum, I'm determined to get this done. Even if I have to type it up on my smart phone *hums Eye of the Tiger but not in an anti-gay marriage way, FU Kim Davis*

Please remember to submit requests for new housing here within the next twenty-four hours! Again, if you already have roommates, and don't submit a request, you'll just stick with them. Anyone without roommates (besides those in a studio) who does not respond will be randomly assigned.

( Plot Post: ACT II )

Hey Folks!

Now that I'm back from the Renaissance Faire and have free time, I can elaborate on what will be happening to the Field Teams and Residences.

1) In order to avoid disrupting as many of you as possible, the Grey Team is being made an NPC Team, and the members thereof are being distributed to the other teams. ICly, the Operatives and Agents have been informed that some shuffling is occurring to address questions of team dynamics and balance. Agents know for sure it's to disorient possible spies, Operatives just suspect it (unless their agents told them). Assume that any spots that are empty (or that are now taken by a former Grey Team member) were switched up.

2) For residences: The comments on the page have been cleared out. On the plot calendar, it is noted that the official switch notices will go out on the ninth. Until the eighth, you can go to the residences page to make requests for roommates, if you have them. Anyone in a single currently will keep their single, as will any full suites/apartments, our goal is just to make sure no one is left alone in an apartment/suite without roommates because that's no fun.

3) The Plot calendar will be going up tonight or tomorrow, with information on Act II. It looks pretty nifty, if I say so myself, and there will be plenty of things for y'all to volunteer for in the coming weeks. Stuff with Agents. Stuff with Metas. Stuff with APEX. All sorts of stuff.

I promise this is my last mod post for at least a few days (not including the plot post).

Heya folks! The Check-In is now over! Sweeps have been done, and as you can see we did lose quite a few folks (though considering we still have eighty-odd characters... We're doing pretty okay, still XD)

A couple points:

• Due to the number of characters lost from Field Teams, we will be doing a bit of shuffling there, in the near future. We will try to disturb as little as possible.
• Similarly, in order to make sure everyone who wanted a roommate to plot with has a roommate, we will also be shuffling residences. We'll allow people to make requests for this again, though again we'll be doing our best to minimize disturbing people who are already together. This will be played ICly, and there will be more information regarding it on the next plot calendar.
• Said plot calendar is coming soon, as we start Act II next week. Are you excited? I'm excited.
• There are now quite a few open Operative and Field Agent spots. If you had a desire to pick one up, now would be a great time to do so! We'll be advertising in the near future for Act II, so be sure to use this time while you've got a head start to grab what you want, before new folks can swoop in.
• You are all still awesome, and I still love you. <3

hi, ali here! i play ella (earthbend) and aran.

a few of you are just now getting replies to three day old posts and i'm sorry about that. my computer has been having video card issues lately and i haven't been as active as i'd like. i've been relying on my phone for internet but i'm the worst at typing on it and IJ isn't exactly mobile friendly, so i've honestly been avoiding it.

BUT!!! i went out and bought a back up video card and now i'm all set. if anyone would like to write or plot or chat or anything, i'd be 300% down for that. my aim is eupheryce, gtalk is lovelyhorsederpychan, and my characters each have dropboxes in their journals.

Yo! I'm starting a full time job tomorrow, which is going to have crazy hours this first week as I get acclimated, so I'll be on hiatus Monday until Saturday. In the meantime, though, I'm still available for logging, especially if anyone needs/wants activity. I have a thing for logging. I love it. END OF ACT I CHECK-IN Hey Folks! It's time to check-in! (Yay. Hooray. Excitement. Joy.) You might've noticed that we did not do checks for July and August, that is because we've elected to change up our activity/check-in rules a bit, and they are now as follows: At the end of each of the plot's five acts, the mods will post in the OOC Comm, asking everyone to check in with their characters, what they're up to, what ideas they might have for the next month, etc. Don't check in within a week, and you're out. If we see you have a character who's pretty much just sitting there doing nothing, we might have a conversation about ways you can get that character more involved, or whether or not you should consider letting them go. In general, we would consider two or three posts/logs/narratives/significant strings of comments a month to be 'active'. As such, please respond to THIS COMMENT THREAD to check in with your folks, let us know you're still around, etc. Excluding those who've notified us about hiatuses, You have until August 26th to check in. ON A LIGHTER NOTE! Each activity check will be accompanied by a (completely optional) meme! This check's meme: Drunk Voicemail meme! Post comments with your characters names, then other players will name a character of theirs. The first person will then write a drunken voicemail (or two. or three) from the first character to the second. Nothing counts as IC unless you want it to. Two things: I hurt my shoulder somehow last night, which means very strong painkillers that are making me sleepy which = minimal RP.

More importantly though, since Theodore acknowledges that he frequents both haunts regularly and he has a bunch of savings he can't take with him, he wrote cheques out to managers of both Brewed Awakening and Capers and requested that they give $100 to each staff member for the inconvenience and missed work due to the riot and subsequent lock down. He asked to remain anonymous.

Just a quick note to say that Barbara (profile), Cynthia (profile) and Tiger (profile) all have their own dropboxes now - which, yeah, I know I only did like a month and a half late (sorry, whoops). And I'm not sure I ever intro'd them.
